ACSA Region 7 Awards
2009/2010
“Leading in a Changing World”
Who: Do you work with a dedicated and enthusiastic ACSA colleague who deserves recognition? Do you know of someone in your organization that has served students and teachers for years and should be recognized? Is there an ACSA member in your district who deserves to receive an award for their tireless efforts to make a difference with students each and every day?
When: Now is the time to submit their name to our ACSA Region 7 Awards Committee for consideration of Administrator of the Year for their particular area of focus. Our conference theme is “Leading in a Changing World” and we are looking for a few good men and women to recognize and reward for their leadership skills in this ever- changing world of education. Nominees must be state ACSA members.
How: Scroll down past this message and download a copy of the nomination form. Click on the award you have a nomination for. Use the “save-as” function. Fill it out and submit electronically to the Region 7 Awards Chair, Rick Bartkowski, at rbartkowski@stancoe.org. No faxed applications will be considered. Please forward your nominations as soon as they are completed. You can also phone Rick Bartkowski at 1-209-238-1304 for any additional information about the Awards process.
Timeline: Region 7 nominations are due no later than Friday, December 11, 2009. These will be reviewed by ACSA members on the Awards Committee and recommendations forwarded to the Region 7 ACSA Board by January 16, 2010. Final nominations for the state ACSA Awards are due February 8, 2010 by 5:00 p.m.

• Outstanding Media Coverage of Public Education nomination
• Partners in Excellence nomination
• Valuing Diversity nomination
Where: All award recipients will be honored and recognized at our annual ACSA Region 7 conference April 30 -May 2, 2010 in Monterey. There is a special evening dinner and awards ceremony on Friday evening, April 30. You can find conference information on our ACSA Region 7 web site.
